Here's what some of our guests have to say:
"This is like the Embassy Suites of B&Bs! We had a great two bedroom suite with a little sitting room including a mini fridge (at a very reasonable rate compared to other similar inns in the area). For our larger family this was a great option, and for once everyone had a bed. Breakfast was great all three days of our stay (they called ahead to see what our kids would eat and accommodated a non-meat eater well). The Inn was very family friendly with a nice selection of toys and a highchair available. We ate take out food one evening on the large, well-furnished deck (the kitchen is available to guests during non-breakfast hours so we had plates, forks, napkins, etc) and also spent plenty of time on the front porch enjoying a beverage while the kids played in the front yard. The location is great between downtown and the Biltmore." July 10, 2008 Bethesda, MD
"This is an adorable, very private cottage! Service and staff could not have been any better! And Jim is such an awesome cook! We came and went as we pleased and had plenty of privacy! We stayed in the Music Suite which was very clean and was just as described; the bathroom was small, but the clawfoot bathtub was wonderful! The overall look is just beautiful!" Warm and Comfy
| I
have stayed at Oakland B&B three times. Would not stay anywhere
else, especially after eating the most wonderful breakfast meals I have
ever had. Fresh, fattening and divine. Rooms are lovely, and everyone
who works there is kind and helpful. A great choice for anyone visiting Asheville. Loved it so much I moved here. |
